Sailing yacht DARK STAR OF LONDON was designed by Martin Francis whose work is always striking, and practical, with fantastic accommodation and great deck layouts and it always turns heads.
She was built by the famous French shipyard Trehard in 1982, the yacht was completely refitted in 2000, 2008, and subsequently in 2023.
Accommodation:
She offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 deluxe cabins including a master suite, 2 double cabins, and 2 twin cabins. All the cabins have their own en-suite head compartments. The owners’ cabin is particularly nice. It’s well set out, spacious, and has a full-size en-suite shower room. It is a pleasure to wake up in the morning and just potter around in the cabin.
Dark Star of London is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings, and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
DARK STAR OF LONDON (previously PK BOO II and La Concorde) offers an elegant interior featuring elegant cherry wood, soft furnishings and ample modern amenities, and a stylish ambiance. The salon is spacious with the lounge on the starboard side and formal dining on the port side. All guest cabins are forward of the salon enabling ultimate privacy.
She boasts plenty of exterior teak decks to enjoy. A wide companionway leads out from the salon into a generous guest cockpit with ample seating and an alfresco dining option. A Bimini cover is available for optimum comfort in any weather, while all running lines are fed outside the space, allowing guests to relax uninterrupted. Separate and aft is the helm station. Guests have further flush decks to enjoy aft of the helms and on the fore deck with a double sun pad.
Leisure:
Dark Star of London also has a great stern platform, which is the perfect place for watersports or from which to join her dinghy.
You’ll find many leisure and entertainment facilities onboard, making her ideal for entertaining friends and family on your charter vacation. There’s ample space for enjoying an alfresco lunch or dinner on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine and working on your tan.
You’ll sail at a cruising speed of 8 knots, taking in your breath-taking surroundings, and enjoying the freedom of a charter vacation. You feel very safe whilst enjoying an exhilarating, authentic sailing experience. The large wheel is particularly enjoyable and we sometimes fly a beautiful red lightweight spinnaker, which is breath taking.
Wi-Fi connection is available throughout, so you’ll be able to keep up to date with business, check emails or share your experience on social media.
Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the warmest of days or nights.
A portfolio of toys onboard includes water-ski, wake board, Kneeboard, 2 x doughnuts, diving and snorkeling equipment, 2 large paddle boards, fishing equipment, 86’ outdoor cinema, ideal for keeping guests entertained
Measuring 27.48m (90′ 2″), she is available for charter in the West Mediterranean, including South of France, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, the Italian riviera, Amalfi coast.
