Gladoris II is a classic yawl, built in 1928 by Luke Brothers at the river Hamble in the UK.
With her breath-taking beautiful lines and careful maintenance with special attention to her historical fittings on deck and furnishing under deck she is truly a pure classic. Intricate updates and details offer all the comfort, that makes sense nowadays on classic sailing yachts without losing the charm, authenticity and the spirit of yachts built in this famous decade in ship´s design.
Sailing Gladoris II means pure and authentic sailing like in the 1920´s. You will not find hydraulic equipment, furlers or motorized winches (except for the windlass) on board. But for the safe navigation in ports the yacht has a powerful bow thruster. Of course, all required navigation-, safety- and communication facilities are on board and up to date.
For your entertainment if not sailing there is a rib with a 15hp outboard, a SUP, snorkel- and fishing gear, an audio system with bluetooth and a TV on board. On request, we can also offer a professional diving instructor including equipment. In addition to the fully equipped galley there is a gas-lava barbecue for outdoor cooking on board.
SY Gladoris II had an interior refit in 2014. The upholstery has been completely renewed, double ceilings were removed, the original ceiling re-painted and floor coatings were renewed. USB sockets for charging electric devices were installed.
SY Gladoris II was not available for charter for many years, but thanks to the new owner she is now on the market for day- / mini cruise-/ week- and yacht race- charter.
