It is a unique model designed by Bjarne Aas under the international rule “12 meter Racing Class”. That Norwegian naval architect was famous for their regatta hull designs, like the IOD Class (International One Design).
After nine different owners, the yacht belongs to a new team since 2013 leaded by the spanish Andrés de León Ramón-Borja, to continue writing the story of this incredible sailboat.
An exceptional, fast and elegant Norwegian sailboat, built 60 years ago using mahogany, oak, silver spruce and iroko. With this yacht you will discover the pleasure of sailing. And you will enjoy a perfect anchorage. The deck allows you to move freely, sunbathe in complete comfort or sit at the table, each in their chair, under a huge bimini top that covers from the mast to the stern. The feeling of pleasure on board is unforgettable.
Yanira can accommodate up to ten guests in day cruising or six people involving overnight accommodation. The yacht has a professional crew of two to ensure the perfect experience.
Since she started racing, Yanira has shown that competition is also her natural habitat. Her race records accumulates over 25 wins, documented between 1984 and 2014. Several generations of sailors have been formed in this fast cruiser-racer, great sportsmen and women who have been part of the crew of the spanish racing saliboats Bribón or the legendary Azur de Puig.
